Kamikouchi

Kamikouchi is a scenic area in the Japanese Alps. However, it has gotten so crowded that visitors must park their cars outside the park and take buses in. Even so, the infrastructure cannot handle the hordes of people that visit the park during high seasons like Golden Week or August summer vacations. There are easy walking paths along the river, and more challenging trails to the surrounding peaks.
