The Hakone Open-Air Museum is a must-see if you are a sculpture fan like I am. Set in a beautiful park setting in the hills of Hakone, the museum displays scores of sculptures from Japan and around the world. It can be reached by taking the Tozan Railway from either Odawara or Hakone Yumoto. One word of caution: the restaurants within the grounds are expensive and not very good. Take a bento lunch!
